A Note for my Sister Executives

So, my sister Executives…the promise that God made over our lives is very real…and here are some very practical ways of dealing with our lives, enjoying it, letting go of Superwoman…and living the abundant life God intended:

  1. Do not let worldly gain be your motivator. Remember, Jesus did not work for money.  He was a poor man who had the power to pull money out of a fish’s mouth–go figure!
  2. Do not worry about your “story” or your “history”. Jesus died a criminal’s death, yet His story is a perpetual best seller, even more so that Harry Potter could ever hope to be.
  3. Life happens on the journey, don’t rush its ending.
  4. God’s timing is perfect–set your watch by him, not the one on your office/kitchen desk.
  5. By ourselves, we will fall short–but with faith over fear, all things are possible.
  6. Network–Allow your life to be interconnected and interwoven with others, meaningfully.
  7. You be You–Do not allow the world to define your management style…if a 9 to 5 doesnt work, be confident when you propose something else–to your husband, to your boss, to your kids.
  8. Life is full of possibilities and opportunities–seize them (pray first!) but seize them.
  9. While, yes, it will end…lengthen it by treating Life well.
  10. LAUGH REAL HARD EVERY DAY!

Those are my practical steps to being a Christian CEO! What are yours?
